With over 900 species recorded, Costa Rica is a photographer’s dream! Tanagers, hummingbirds, motmots, the list goes on but, one bird is always at the top of everyone’s list, Resplendent Quetzal! The timing of this trip allows our small groups to access private properties during the quetzal nesting season and obtain incredible images of these stunning birds. In addition, we will spend time photographing some of the incredible hummingbird species in the area. Songbirds opportunities will be abundant as we visit private feeders to capture incredible images of birds like Flame-colored Tanager, Long-tailed Silky-flycatcher, Golden-browed Chlorophonia, and Slaty Flowerpiecer.
