Explore the beauty and incredible birds of southern Vietnam on this tour. This journey promises an extraordinary adventure through southern Vietnam’s most iconic natural landscapes.

Starting in the bustling city of Ho Chi Minh, we quickly move from the city to excellent natural areas starting with Ma Da Forest before moving to Cat Tien National Park. These locations are rich in fantastic bird species, including Bar-bellied Pitta, Siamese Fireback, Silver-breasted and Red-and-black Broadbills, Germain’s Peacock-Pheasant, and so much more, alongside mammals like the Black-shanked Douc Langur.

The adventure continues in the Da Lat Plateau, where cool mountain air and dramatic landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for spotting endemic species like the Vietnamese Greenfinch. We’ll spend time both birding from hides as well as more typical field birding. Some of the many highlights during this part of the tour could include Rusty-naped Pitta, Lesser Shortwing, White-browed Scimitar-Babbler, and Siberian and Orange-headed Thrushes.

After De Lat, we’ll continue on to Di Linh for our final stop of the tour. This area is rich with birds and we’ll add many new species to our list. Some highlight could include Blue and Blue-rumped Pittas, Indochinese Green Magpie, Black-headed Parrotbill, Ochraceous Bulbul, Vietnamese Greenfinch, White-throated Rock-Thrush, Fire-breasted Flowerpecker, and Silver-breasted and Long-tailed Broadbills.
