This is a birding tour, designed to see as many bird species as possible, with special focus on specialty species.

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of Panama’s remote Darién region. The adventure begins in Panama City before heading deep into the lush lowland forests surrounding the Canopy Camp, one of Central America’s premier birding destinations. Each day offers the chance to encounter incredible species, including White-eared Conebill, Red-billed Scythebill, Gray-cheeked Nunlet, and Dusky-backed Jacamar. With the possibility of visiting an active Harpy Eagle nest and searching for the magnificent Crested Eagle, this is a birding experience you will never forget.

From the moment the sun rises over the canopy, the days are filled with incredible birding. Walk forest trails alive with toucans and manakins, take a dugout canoe along tranquil rivers, and search diverse habitats from open lagoons to shaded rainforest. Feeders at the camp attract a dazzling array of hummingbirds, while careful scanning along roadsides may reveal Royal Flycatcher, Pied Puffbird, or Golden-collared Manakin. Evenings bring their own magic with the chance to look for potoos, owls, and other nocturnal wildlife.

This tour is designed to provide an intimate and in-depth experience of one of the most biodiverse regions in the Neotropics.
