Kentucky Spring Photography Workshop
Session 1: April 29 – May 1, 2023
Location: Slade, Kentucky
Participant Limit: 5
Activity Level: Moderate
This is a photography tour, designed to photograph target species with a focus on quality over quantity
The hilly forests of central Kentucky provide great opportunities to photograph many highly sought-after warbler species. The landscape of the area provides opportunities or eye-level encounters with many species. In this workshop, we will focus on southerly breeding species such as Kentucky, Hooded Cerulean, and the elusive Swainson’s Warblers.
Sabrewing Nature Tours photography workshops provide an immersive photography experience in a small group setting with less time commitment than our full-length tours. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our professional guides in the field and during one-on-one sessions. Our photography workshops focus on quality over quantity, with incredible species in exciting destinations.
This tour will begin on April 29 with a welcome dinner in Slade, Kentucky. It will end after a morning photo session on May 1. The second session, will begin on May 1 with a welcome dinner in Slade, Kentucky and will end after a morning photo session on May 3.
Our photography workshop prices include the welcome dinner, permits, photography sessions in the field, and one-on-one midday lessons with the guide. Field sessions are working with one of our professional photography guides to help get you set up for the best photos possible. This time is focused on anything you want to discuss with your guide before the remaining field sessions.
