Join Jamie on “Spas, Sips, and Specialties”, a relaxing lady only retreat full of some of Southeast Arizona’s best birding spots at an easy pace. Along with great birding, we will get to enjoy a winery, some great art galleries, take in a champagne brunch, spend a morning field sketching, and even get a massage. Unlike other tours, some wine and brews will be included in this all-inclusive itinerary. Participants will also enjoy a complimentary welcome basket full of goodies by fellow women artists, authors, and more!

We will begin our journey in the Tucson area enjoying local birds and beautiful scenery. A quick drive south will find us in the Sierra Vista region which is rich in diversity including up to 10 species of hummingbirds such as Rivoli’s, Lucifer, and Violet-crowned, Elf Owl, Montezuma Quail, and Gray Hawk. The group will explore not just the birding hotspots, but also the unique local towns with great food and drink! Then, we will head east to the biologically rich Green Valley area in search of specialties such as Elegant Trogon and Five-stripped Sparrow. A short trek back north will find us in high elevations looking for a variety of warbler species such as Red-faced, Grace’s, and Olive.

This will be the most fun you’ve ever had on a birding trip, with the chance to bond with other women over a shared passion and take in all the beauty and birds that Southeast Arizona has to offer, at a relaxed pace.
